**YOU MUST BE A CURRENT 2ND - 5TH GRADE STUDENT AT KENROSE ELEM. IN WILLIAMSON COUNTY SCHOOLS IN BRENTWOOD, TN TO REGISTER HERE!
We are excited to bring chess back to WCS schools in 2024-25! Please read below for complete details:
When/Where: Chess club will meet each of the following Wednesdays before school from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM in Ms. Brooks classroom.
Schedule: 1/15, 1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/19, 2/26, 3/19, 3/26, 4/2, 4/9. (4/30 Snow day Make up)
Who can register? The first 22-students in grades 2nd-5th at Kenrose Elementary.
Each student will receive a 1-year Gold Membership to ChessKid.com to supplement our in-class learning! (Normally $49 per year).
Other: Once registration closes, we will send out a complete, informational email to our team about their coach, how students will transition to chess, how they will be dismissed, how we will communicate to our parents of the team, and of course, complete information about all upcoming tournaments and events where we want to see the Cardinal Chess Team competing!
