WEEKNIGHT EVENTS
- The NCC is open most Friday evenings (6:00 PM - 10:00 PM) - please check our calendar to confirm!
- The NCC is open nearly all Thursday evenings (6:00 PM - 10:00 PM) for casual play. This is perfect for players just getting into the game over-the-board and looking for a stress free, relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the game and make some new friends. It is free to attend Thursday nights.
- There is no $$Charge to attend the NCC to play casual games or utilize our learning resources. Payment is only required for tournaments and NCC Membership, if you want to support the club, check out books from the library and get discounts on all our events.
- There are only fees once you enter tournaments, or when you want to become a member to support the club and check out library books (members also get discount on all events)
- While there are no snacks available at the NCC, we do have coffee, tea and filtered water
- You do not need to bring any playing equipment to the NCC - we have it all!
SENIOR CHESS MEET UP DAYS
- Every Wednesday of each month (10:30 AM to 12:30 PM)
- FREE TO ALL CHESS PLAYERS AGED near 50 AND ABOVE
- Casual play in a relaxed atmosphere
- Come for the entire two hours or just swing by for a game or two!
- Address: 2911 Belmont Blvd Nashville, TN 37212 - look for the big yellow house next door to Christ-the-King
- Anyone needing added accessibility to the building, please use the very rear entrance next to our parking lot/driveway - it only has one small step.
- PARKING: Use the NCC Driveway, park anywhere along the street on Primrose or Belmont, but please avoid parking in the church parking lot
NCC MONTHLY SWISS TOURNAMENTS
Once per month, Tournament Director and NCC Member Johnny Owens comes down from Southern Kentucky to graciously run an event for us at the NCC.
These events are open to any players of any age - see the calendar for full details. Visitors of any age are welcome during these events as well.
